Cast Wrap Vinyl, this wrap mimics very well the look of a custom paint job. This is because the cast film is able to mold to, or conform to the shape of the vehicle that is being wrapped. Cast film measures 2 mm in thickness, this thinness gives the vehicle the freshly painted look. And lastly cast film is very strong it can last for up to five years. The drawback to cast film is the cost.
Calendared Vinyl is the other option to cast film. It is cheaper and used mainly for Box Trucks and Tractor Trailers. It is used when applying individual graphics. The draw back to vinyl is that it is not as durable as cast film. This means if you’re looking for a long term solution this many not be the right choice.
Applying your vehicle wrap.
Before application the vehicle should be thoroughly washed removing all foreign substances, If not the sticker will not adhere to the surface. After cleaning your next step is to get the vehicle nice and warm up to 70 degrees Fahrenheit this will increase the pliability of the material for a better quality finish.
